Surrounded by lush forests and stunning landscapes, Matheran provides the ideal setting to immerse yourself in nature, relax, and enjoy outdoor activities, all while being close enough for a quick escape yet far enough to disconnect from the busy city life.

How to Reach Our Matheran Campsite

Option 1 (Private Vehicle)

  • Search Dasturi Point on Google.
  • Drive to Dasturi Point and Park your Vehicle in the Car Parking
  • Proceed towards Aman Lodge station and book the train Tickets for the Toy Train (approx 45 rs per person)
  • If Toy Train is not available one can directly walk to the Campsite which is a cheerful walk with companions.
  • One can also take the Horses like in the time of British rule.
  • Get Down at Matheran Station and it’s an approx 10-minute walk to the Campsite.

Option 2 (Local Train)

  • Get on a Karjat Local on any of the stations on the Central Line.
  • Get down at Neral Station.
  • Take a shared cab from Neral Station to Dasturi Point approx (100 rs per person)
  • Proceed towards Aman Lodge station and book the train Tickets for the Toy Train (approx 45 rs per person)
  • If Toy Train is not available one can directly walk to the Campsite which is a cheerful walk with companions.
  • One can also take the Horses like in the time of British rule.
  • Get Down at Matheran Station and it’s an approx 10-minute walk to the Campsite.

  • Campsite Distance from Matheran Railway Station: Our campsite is located just 1.5 km from the Matheran railway station, easily accessible by a short walk or local transport.

Matheran Camping Itinerary

Day 1:

  • 12:00 PM Onwards: Check-in at the campsite
  • 01:00 PM Onwards: Lunch served at the campsite
  • 02:00 PM Onwards: Enjoy various campsite activities
  • 06:00 PM: Evening snacks
  • 07:00 PM: Get ready for a lively DJ session
  • 09:00 PM: Dinner served (Veg only)
  • Movie Screening: Relax and enjoy a movie screening
  • Live Music: Enjoy live music (Saturday night)
  • Midnight Trek: Embark on a 20-25 minute midnight trek (only on Saturday)

Day 2:

  • 05:30 AM – 06:30 AM: Sunrise Morning Trek to start the day with beautiful views
  • 07:30 AM: Freshen up
  • 09:00 AM: Breakfast
  • 10:00 AM: Check-out and head back home with unforgettable memories

  • Personal Expenses: Any personal costs, such as camera charges or souvenirs, are not included.
  • Unmentioned Costs: Any expenses not specifically mentioned in the inclusions above.
  • Unforeseen Expenses: Costs incurred due to unforeseen events like roadblocks, bad weather, etc., are not included.
  • Medical/Emergency Evacuations: Any medical costs or emergency evacuations, if required, will be the responsibility of the participant.
  • Please plan accordingly for any additional expenses that may arise during your camping experience.
